Some of our anglers braved the heat at Lake Sangchris this weekend and had great success! The teams of Braydon Henfling/Jaxon Bennett, Cade Rucker/Owen Simpson, and Brennan Fulton/Nick Chapman fished. Rucker/ Simpson weighed in 3 fish, 3 lbs., 5 ounces and earned 25th place. Brennan and Nick earned 2nd place with 5 fish weighing 15 lbs., 6 ounces. They were only 9 ounces from 1st place! Their big bass was 3 ounces shy of big bass of the tournament.
Chapman and Fulton were also named the Anglers of the Week by ICASSTT!

Next week the teams have an opportunity at Lake Jacksonville. Every tournament the teams are looking for top 10 finishes and earning individual and team points for regional and state placement.

Last night the Minutemaids defeated Gillespie at Hlafka Hall to improve to 7-3 on the season!
Minutemen Golfers are continuing to improve. Last night at Red Bud, Nick Rull had the low score of the season with a 40!

Team scores were Southwestern 179, Bunker Hill 188, and Lutheran 205. Scoring for Bunker Hill was Bryce Yates (45), Alex Lair (45), Caleb Greeling (46), and Nick Rull (52)
BHHS Biology I students studied enzyme action in science lab today. Students timed the reaction and altered variables to see how they affected enzyme activity.
