Tonight's boys volleyball game vs Gibault will be played at Immaculate Conception School in Columbia, IL. The address is: 409 Palmer Road, Columbia, IL 62236. JV starts at 4:30.

Both the baseball and softball games for today (3/30) have been canceled due to the threat of severe weather.

Congratulations to Zoey Watkins! Zoey is a freshman member of the Bunker Hill High School track team and she earned an astounding 30 points for the team at Thursday night's meet at Southwestern. She earned 1st place in the 300m low hurdles, the 100m dash, the 400m, and 2nd place in long jump. Pretty impressive at her first ever high school meet!


On March 7th, BHHS students and community members donated 22 units of blood for Impact Life. The Bunker Hill High School Student Council would like to thank everyone who donated. BHHS helped to save 66 lives.


On Wednesday, the Bunker Hill FFA chapter headed to Springfield, IL for Ag Legislation Day. They joined chapters from all over Illinois to thank the people that add agriculture to their budget!




On Tuesday, the Bunker Hill FFA chapter took a trip to Greenville to participate in a Dairy Cattle CDE where Kiersten Carlson placed 8th, they placed 4th as a team! The weather was beautiful, and they enjoyed using their knowledge of dairy cattle to compete against neighboring schools.
That same night Sophie Rull and Kiersten Carlson competed in an FFA Public Speaking contest where they were given topics at the event to speak about. This gave the girls a chance to share their speaking skills and gain more confidence.








In addition to yesterday's post, Mrs. McElroy’s Spanish II and IV classes and Ms. Hanson’s Art I class collaborated to write and illustrate Spanish storybooks.


Baseball and softball for today vs Metro East Lutheran have been canceled due to field conditions.

Some of Mr. Banwart’s AP Euro students presented virtually in the Euro Challenge competition on Friday. They gave a 15-minute presentation on Italy’s challenges with public debt, and recommended that southern Italy invest in domestic manufacturing and repatriation to revive their economy and balance sheet. Then they fielded 6 tough questions from a panel of 4 judges from University of Illinois Euro Center.
Job well done, team! We are proud of you!!





Baseball today (3/24) vs East Alton-Wood River and softball tomorrow (3/25) vs Carrollton has been cancelled due to the weather.

Our Minutemen volleyball team made history tonight! They were victorious with a win over Waterloo Gibault. Congrats!





Mrs. Mac's Spanish students recently participated in a few fun and collaborative activities to review verb forms and for a cumulative exam.






What an exciting environment for the first ever boys volleyball game last night! The energy of the team and crowd was impressive! Make sure you get out to a game this spring. The next home game is tonight against Gibault at 5:00pm.
Also, the boys tennis team will travel to Triad today for a match at 3:30.






The baseball, softball, and tennis games for today (3/21) have all been canceled. However, the first ever boys volleyball game takes place tonight at 6:00 vs Maryville Christian. Come cheer on the Minutemen and witness history!

Bunker Hill High School Career and Criminal Justice students experienced a day of Careers in the Criminal Justice Field. This was held at the Caseyville Community Center in Caseyville IL.
