FFA members attended Leadership Training School on Wednesday September 25th. Bunker Hill Officers attended sessions with State and Sections officers to learn how to effectively do their required jobs at the chapter level. Freshmen students attended sessions to help increase their communication and leadership skills.

The students of Mrs. Eschbach’s College Prep English 4 class visited the Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms at Wolf Ridge to read a book they created and had published for the students. The students used real life publishing skills to create an Alphabet book using things from around Bunker Hill. The elementary students loved recognizing the different businesses and opportunities offered to them here in town. You can now find the book in the library at Wolf Ridge!
The High School Girls Tennis Match and Senior Night are rescheduled for10/8 at home vs East Alton Wood River.
The BHHS Cheerleaders are bringing back the Spaghetti Dinner on 10/8 during Parent/Teacher Conferences. Come out and support the team!

Bunker Hill FFA members attended the Forestry competition at Beaver Dam State Park September 11th . Bunker Hill won 5th place in both the freshman and varsity level competitions. Abbi Jarden got 10th place in the freshman division and Tom Sander was a top team finisher in the varsity contest.

Our BHHS volleyball team took an evening to go watch a SIUE volleyball game. What a great way for team bonding!

The BHHS Bass Fishing Team has a successful weekend! Brennan Fulton and Braydon Henfling placed 9th in the ICASSTT bass fishing tournament at Lake Jacksonville Saturday. They weighed in 4lbs 1 ounce. On Sunday Logan Miersch placed 4th with 7lbs, 6oz. in the ICASSTT tournament at Lake Shelbyville. Way to represent gentlemen!
