Please remember there are 2 StoryWalks in town this week. Rain looks like it's gone for the week, so it's perfect to get out and take a walk...and READ!
Who wants to go on a StoryWalk???
What is a StoryWalk? Why... it's an innovative and delightful way for children - and adults - to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you're directed to the next page in the story.
StoryWalks® have been installed in all 50 states and 12 countries including, Germany, Canada, England, Bermuda, Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan and South Korea!
Wolf Ridge Elementary and the public library are partnering up for our very own StoryWalks.
You will find two books next week in our community. One at the city park and the other in the Bunker Hill Cemetery. We are encouraging families to spend time together in the outdoors and reading these books! Don't forget to take pictures of your time on the StoryWalks, and send them to Mrs. Ronen.
