His parents are Nathan and Allyson Thyer and Dawn and Dwayne Trover, and his step-siblings are Zoey Bechel, Caira Trover, Chase Trover, and Cole Trover. His high school activities include(d) Scholastic Bowl, Trap Shooting, Drama Club, Improv Club, Chess Club, Band, and Golf. He has achieved honors in high school, such as becoming a National Honor Society member, receiving the Rural and Small-Town Recognition from College Board, becoming an Illinois State Scholar, and earning first place in the Illinois High School State Shoot. He has worked at Dairy Queen, Brittany Shooting Range, and Short Stop. In his free time, he often plays video games and attempts to learn more about chess, but he struggles. After high school, he plans on majoring in software engineering but isn’t certain where to earn his degree. His favorite memories are going on field trips with Mr. Banwart’s classes and experiencing how life is different outside of Bunker Hill. He is thankful for all of his friends and family that have supported him with his career choices and how he is the person he is today.
