The December Student of the Month at Bunker Hill High School is Zoey Watkins. She is the daughter of Jessica Kline and Robert Watkins. Her siblings are Gabby Starkey, JT Lahey, Ryenne Lahey, Cameron Watkins, Mia Watkins, Korbyn Watkins, Aubree Watkins, Jojo Kirkham, Charlie Kirkham and Zane Kirkham.
Her high school activities include: girls’ basketball, track & field, FCA, drama club, student council, key club, school spirit committee, and pep rally committee. Her high school honors include the high honor roll and principal’s list. Zoey has earned several awards in the 300 low hurdles during her high school career: qualifying for state, breaking the school record 3 times, and conference champion 3 times.
Her activities and honors outside of school is working in the concession stand for community service hours and participating in key club. Zoey also enjoys drawing, playing video games, and running around town in her free time.
Her future plans after high school is to attend SIUE to study Kinesiology. Her fondest high school memory is qualifying for state in the 300 low hurdles.
