December Student of the Month

The December Student of the Month at Bunker Hill High School is Logan Helling. She is the daughter of Chris and Christy Helling. Logan has an older sister, Allie, and a beautiful one and a half year old daughter, Vienna. Through high school, she has been involved in cross country, track, FFA, and has been a class officer.  Currently, Logan is the treasurer for both FFA and her senior class. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has achieved the Principal's List all through high school. Outside of high school, she has been involved in 4-H for the past ten years having held all officer positions. Throughout her years in the Bunker Hill Livewires 4-H Club, Logan has done community service such as secret santa, cleaning up our local cemeteries, and putting flags on veterans’ graves to name a few. Some awards she has won at state and county levels have been the Emerald, Gold, I Dare You, and Outstanding Creative Arts 4-H Member Awards. Some of her best memories of high school are spending time with her close friends and having the opportunities to learn more about horticulture through FFA. Logan Helling will be graduating this December. She will be attending Lewis and Clark Community College in January and later transferring in the fall to Lincoln Land Community College to pursue her education on the study of plants. Her parents could not be any more proud of what she has accomplished now and in her future!
