The district is delighted to announce that, according to the official results of the 2025 Illinois School Report Card, our high school has achieved the highest overall Indicator Score in Macoupin County! For years, we have proudly recognized the dedication, achievement, and spirit of our students, staff, and community, and now we have the data to validate what we’ve long believed to be true: BH8 is the BEST!
The Indicator Score for High Schools on the Illinois Report Card are based on the following Weighted Indexes from ISBE: ELA Proficiency, Math Proficiency, Graduation Rate, 9th Graders on Track, Chronic Absenteeism, Science Proficiency, and Climate Survey.
