Individuals interested in applying for the Bunker Hill Community Unit School District 8 school board vacancy should submit a letter of interest and resume by noon Wednesday, September 3, 2025 to Bunker Hill CUSD #8, c/o Board Secretary, 504 E Warren Street, Bunker Hill, Illinois 62014. The appointment will fill the unexpired term until April, 2027 at which time the seat will be filled by election. The Board of Education will screen the applicants and decide which individuals will be interviewed.
