Bunker Hill District

Due to a forecasted Winter Weather Advisory tomorrow (Thursday, 2/17) Bunker Hill CUSD #8 will be actively monitoring weather conditions throughout the evening and during the day tomorrow. Bunker Hill CUSD #8 tries to avoid cancelling school on a forecast. However, if roads begin deteriorating quickly during the day tomorrow,  the district has contingencies in place to ensure students arrive home safely, which is our top priority during periods of inclement weather.  If conditions begin deteriorating to the point where they are unsafe, the district will POSSIBLY dismiss early in order to ensure everyone's safety. Again, no decision has been made at this point. Just know that the district will be monitoring so in this eventuality, more communication will be relayed as soon as possible. Parents may consider ensuring childcare needs are arranged, just in case.
